We had no choice in fencing material. Black 

metal is the only option-one of the 

drawbacks in living in a gated community.

Unfortunately, if you want to sleep on 

them anytime soon, you'll have to

sleep standing up!

Now you know that I must really be

bored when I'm taking pictures &

blogging about beds!

As you can see, they're blocking all

the windows. Now it really feels like a cell!

Upstairs front bedroom.Trying to show paint

colors. Two front bedrooms are pale

yellow because they only get morning sun

Office. All cabinets have been painted. They

will all be glazed after everything else in

the house is finished.

Entertainment center in family room. The

area above & below the fireplace/mantle

will have Austin chalk. The mantle will

also be glazed

these walls (main body of house)

changes a great deal depending on 

light.

Ok--now don't everyone gasp as I did the first

time I saw the small caboose in my kitchen.

Remember,all the cabinets will be glazed,

so hopefully it won't be so bright (at least

that's the plan!) & the cabs won't be so white.

This will get glazed also. (It's a little larger

than I'd envisioned). It's amazing how

difficult it can be to communicate your

ideas, even when you have pictures.
